Children’s Liturgy takes place at both the 11.00 a.m. Mass at St Edward’s Church (other than Family Mass)
and the 9.30 a.m. Mass at St Mark’s Church.
Children aged 3-8 will be called forward by Fr Michael after the opening hymn,
and they will then go out with their catechists to receive the Liturgy of the Word at their own level,
using the programme: ‘Welcome the Word’.
The children will then come back into the Church just before the Offertory Procession,
where Fr Michael will chat to them about what they have been doing.
It is recommended that once children have received the Sacrament of First Communion, they should stay in the church for Mass.
The Youth Matters Group meet regularly to plan Activity Mornings for the 5-10 year age group, and details appear in the newsletter.
They have also held meetings with other Windsor Church Youth Leaders, and a joint youth service and celebration
was held at St Edward’s on the Feast of Christ the King.
Our own Youth Group meets on the last Sunday of every month, and again, details are in the newsletter.
Anyone is warmly welcome to come and join us.
If you want to know more about this group, please contact the Youth Group Leader, Gillian White,

They sing at the Family Mass at St Edward’s on the first Sunday of every month except August.
They also present a fund raising concert every autumn, made up of songs, poems etc, and have raised as much as £1,200 for a local charity.
Children of 7+ are welcome to join us.
